 Below, please find the report from the Northshore Council PTSA Nominating Committee which lists the nominees for each of the Northshore Council PTSA positions for the 2025-2026 Executive Committee. The election will take place during the Northshore Council PTSA Membership Meeting on Monday, March 17, 2025. The WSPTA Uniform Bylaws permit the nomination of candidates from the floor at the meeting before the vote takes place. Per Northshore Council PTSA Policy, self-nominations may be taken from the floor during a virtual meeting. Self-nominations will be called for during the meeting on March 17th. If there is any contested position, we will proceed with a ballot vote. If no position is contested, we will hold the election by voice vote. The Northshore Council PTSA Board was sorry to hear that Superintendent Tolley will be retiring at the end of this school year. We would like to thank Mr. Tolley for his service and leadership in the Northshore School District. As the superintendent plays a crucial role in shaping our school district's educational environment and future, we are happy to hear that the school board will be hiring a search firm to aid in the superintendent search. We thank the school board directors for your commitment to casting a wide net to find the best candidate to lead our school district. We look forward to being given the opportunity once again to provide input on desired candidate traits and feedback on the candidate search, as we did two years ago. The Northshore Council PTSA Board of Directors thanks you for your time and consideration.
Monthly Council Emergency Preparedness (E-prep) Meetings:
Anyone in a PTA/PTSA is welcome to attend our monthly meetings; we encourage local PTA/PTSA E-Prep chairs to attend as well as Presidents, VPs, or other PTA/PTSA delegates. In these meetings we share and obtain regular updates from the NSD Safety & Security team and discuss opportunities where the PTA can provide support to our schools in the areas of emergency preparedness, safety, and security.
