Washington State PTA (WSPTA) was founded in 1905 under the name Washington Congress of Parents and Teachers and is the largest volunteer organization in the state with over 80,000 members.
Washington State PTA's Vision is that every child’s potential becomes a reality.

PTA Essay Contest - This statewide essay contest explores the important and varied influencers in the lives and education of children – from the children’s perspective. Click here to see past essays, applications and rules. PTA Reflections Program - The Reflections Program is a National PTA and WSPTA cultural arts competition. The purpose is to provide an opportunity for students to use their creative talents by expressing themselves through their own original works. This is typically a fall program. Learn more... |
Scholarship Program - Each year, the Washington State PTA awards a limited number of scholarships to graduates from Washington State public high schools. Washington State PTA scholarships are awarded on the basis of 1) financial need 2) academic performance and 3) leadership & community service. To apply, click here for details.
