Each year, Washington State PTA recognizes the work of PTAs and Councils across the state via their Awards of Excellence Program. Many Northshore PTAs submitted applications and were celebrated for their efforts at the annual WSPTA Convention.
The purpose of the Awards of Excellence program is to celebrate the work local PTAs and councils do to make a difference for their communities. The submission criteria reflect a strong knowledge and application of best practices and the submission process can be rigorous. These awards are truly reflective of the dedication and strength of these PTAs and the powerful contributions they make in their communities! Awards and programs also help build awareness of the WSPTA vision and mission. When local PTAs and councils are recognized for the work they are doing, it builds pride in the community and helps people connect with PTA!
Applying for these awards helps local PTAs and councils benchmark their efforts and become resources for other local PTAs and councils. Learn more about how your PTA/PTSA can apply for award next year!
