Offers regularly updated printable lists for community meals and food stability resources (food banks) on their websites.
Northshore School District Meals
Parents whose income falls within specified guidelines set by the U.S. Department of Agriculture can apply for free or reduced-price meals for their students. Forms are available on the Northshore School District website or by contacting the Food Services office at 425-408-7657.
Threads & Treads
Free clothing bank for Northshore School District families located at Canyon Park Middle School. This service, operated by volunteers, is open Wednesdays 3-6pm. Families are welcome to shop for 3-5 outfits per family member per month. The main focus is clothing for school age to young adult (high school), and parents. Care Solace can help you quickly find treatment options matched to your needs regardless of the circumstance. Care Solace is a complimentary and confidential service provided to students, staff, and their families by Northshore School District 417. Care Solace’s team is available 24/7/365 and can support you in any language.
Center for Human Services Clinic-Based Mental Health
Clinic-based Mental health services include individual therapy, conjoint therapy, family therapy and case management, using evidence based-practices. Some of their therapy clients may receive medication monitoring on-site when appropriate.

NAMI Eastside
Organization that supports families, friends and people living with mental illnesses. They offer a number of mental health education classes and offer free presentations throughout east King County. Many of our local PTAs/PTSAs have hosted a parent education class with NAMI, "Ending the Silence," about the warning signs of mental health conditions and what steps to take if you or a loved one are showing symptoms of a mental health condition.

Teen volunteers trained to listen to your concerns and talk with you about whatever’s on your mind – bullying, drug and alcohol concerns, relationships, stress, depression or any other issues you’re facing. Calls and chats are confidential. Check out their Where to Turn for Teens (WTTFTs) resource guide created especially for youth in King, Pierce, and Snohomish County. Available for download both in English and en español.

- Call CHS Centralized Screening at 206-631-8887 between 9 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday, then you will be given an assessment appointment. Please have your Medicaid/Apple Health or Insurance number available when you call. Funding eligibility will be determined when screened for services.

Since 1971 Hopelink has served homeless and low-income families, individuals, children, seniors and people with disabilities. Hopelink services include food, shelter, homelessness prevention, family development, transportation, and adult literacy. Hopelink’s mission is to promote self-sufficiency for all members of our community.
North Urban Human Service Alliance (NUHSA)
A partnership of City, County and State staff, non-profit human service providers, United Way, school districts, faith communities and concerned citizens. NUHSA’s mission is to build the community's capacity to respond to human service needs in North King County, encompassing the Cities of Shoreline, Lake Forest Park, Kenmore, Bothell and Woodinville.

This organization is a non-profit Cyber Safety and Responsibility educational initiative which works to inform, educate, equip and empower kids, parents, and communities about safe and responsible use of technology. A few of our Northshore PTA/PTSAs have hosted Safe Surfin' digital safety presentations in recent years.
The Washington Poison Center (WAPC)
Their mission is to prevent and reduce harm from poisoning through expertise, collaboration, and education. WAPC provides immediate, free, and expert treatment advice and assistance on the telephone in case of exposure to poisonous, hazardous, or toxic substances. For emergencies, call 1-800-222-1222. All calls are confidential.

Cocoon House & Genesis Project
Cocoon House (Everett) and the Genesis Project (Seattle) are organizations that are helping kids who are either already 'on the streets' or at high risk of ending up there. A few years ago, Marysville PTA Council and the Snohomish Soroptimists co-sponsored an awareness event to inform and education the community about sex trafficking which featured presentations from both of these organizations.
Dawson Place Child Advocacy Center
Organization that provides safety, justice, and healing to victims of child physical and sexual abuse, assault, and neglect.
Friends of Youth Safe Place
When teens find themselves in crisis or need a safe place to stay, they should know how and where to get help. Thanks to Safe Place (a Friends of Youth outreach program), immediate access to help and safety for youth ages 11-17 is never far away. There are many Safe Place sites throughout King County, including all King Country Metro buses, the King County Library System, several local businesses, churches, and human services agencies.
Northshore YMCA
Offers programs and classes for youth that span a range of activities, including their Youth & Government program, leadership, health, drama, cooking, and more. They also support a number of social service programs such as Summer Meals for kids.
Youth Eastside Services (YES)
One of the largest providers of youth and family counseling and substance abuse services in the Puget Sound.

In 2017, Canyon Creek PTA hosted a parent education with a KCLS librarian who shared tips about accessing library resources, online safety, and more.

The Governor's Office of the Education Ombuds promotes equity in education by working with families and schools to remove barriers so that every student can fully participate in and benefit from public education in the State of Washington.
